Clouds
smile down on me
as they sail along
up in the clear sky.
wonder
if they know
what i've just heard
am so happy
i wanna scream
and shout.
spirits soaring high
like waves in the ocean
heart racing
smile tugging at my lips.
can't contain
keep it in any longer
am ecstatic
beaming in joy.
this is the day..
she entered my world
There she lies
tiny and pink
wanna hold her
scared she'll
slip
lay her on my lap
whisper
sweet words
"Honey,look at me "

I'm just one person
That's who i call "Me"

Sure there are people all around
Some walk by
Some even pass me by
Not a glance
Dont even want to give me a chance

Time goes by
Friends come along
Some Give while others just Take
Footprints they leave behind
in my heart, in my life
Some i cherish while some i try to forget

I'm happy, i'm content
Spending time with myself
No grudges
No harsh words
will come this way
This is all i need to keep things at bay

At the end of the day
as i look around
there is no one but ME
never will i lose this friend
That's just the way it is meant to be !~

Its early
Clock flashes 6.10 AM
I turn to my side
With eyes half open
Hunt for the phone
Yea the cellphone!

Unlock the keypad
Locate his number
Hmm,am so excited
I wanna call him
Should i?Can i?
What if he's sleeping?

I dial the number
Wait for it to ring
Just about ready to hang up
But Freeze at the soft whisper
"Hi Sweetheart" He says
Ah!My heart melts

"Hey Honey" I answer
"Good Morning"..."Wakey Wakey"
I can feel him smile
Hear him sigh
"Am so sleepy" he says
Wish we could snuggle
And go back to bed

Alas!!Thats not possible
He is there
and i am here
Too many miles apart
Its not as easy as that
All we can do is dream
in our dreams we become One!!

Is this what i want?
For i know there can never be an "US"
Even though i promise you "My Love"
Thats all there ever will be
Just mere words dangling in air
Friends we will remain

Gift- NEw life

New Life

Plastic moulded chairs
Yellow,Blue and Green
Neatly lined against the pale blue walls
Air filled with tension
Anxiety written on our faces
Holding hands,Heart beating faster
Speaking in hushed whispers

She enters the room
Her feet snuggled in tiny blue shoes
Leaving behind the one who held her
The only one she knows
All the love and caring she is familiar with
Turning her attention
To those two souls standing afar

Fear fills her eyes
Her feet refusing to budge
She looks up at them
The lady extends her hands
With a broad smile on her face
"Come over here, Honey!" she cooes
He beckons with a soft smile

Off i go to their home
Looking forward to a beautiful life
A Mother and a Father i have longed for
A sister who i shall idolise
