Entered my life,
like a wave against the shore
Slowly sneaking in

At that moment
knew not what struck me
but i knew,
a friend in you, i had found

Day in and day out
Words and unspoken silence
filled gaps between us
Slowly bridging the gap

At that moment
knew not  why we connected
but i knew,
a friend in you, i had found

Time wore on
Gap fading away

enveloping me in your
love and warmth

At that moment
knew not my life was going to change
but i knew,
a friend in you, i had found

Months have gone by
Your life has changed
celebrations i was a part of
Oh, how Special i was made to feel!!

At that moment
knew not i had earned a new family
But i knew
not just a friend, but some more i had found....

This poem is dedicated to a dear darling friend of mine, Dee... She came into my life about 8mths back and now, we are thick as thieves and close as hell... Love her and her entire family!!!!!
