Sitting atop that pretty floweri saw your wings glisten in the sunlight
colorful and light you flitted about
worries i am sure u had none at all
Going about your day like you normally do
filled with courage to make it in this world
Delicate and gentle are your wings
your life i am sure is free as it can be
butterfly, butterfly, i wish i was you
living through each day as if it were new
Loving and caring my smiles filling the air
what a joy it would be if i were so free

the colours would fade, you have to dye them new every week.
