When we were young,
the world was so innocent.
when we were young,
the world was one big playground.
when we were young,
we thought we knew everything.
when we were young
it was OK to cry.
then something happened,
we grew up.
life was no longer about games and toys.
It was filled with school and everyday choices
Not to forget!!the quest -
finding that special person to spend your days with.
when we grow old,
the world becomes ugly,
when we grow old,
there is no more innocence.
when we grow old,
we come to realize we know nothing.
i still long for those days
when nothing mattered,
I dint have a care in the world
We were kings and
queens of the world then.
now what are we?
Just some thots that have been running thru my head as to how when we were kids,life seemed so easy and as we grow, we are weighed down by choices,decisions and every day seems too important!!
