house filled with noise
relatives always around
fighting for the remote
standing in line for the bath

competing for a seat at the table
squeezing into cars
barraging into malls
days seem never ending
night seems too far away

the fight for survival
always at its peak
clutter and chaos I no longer mind
for loneliness I know naught
All 'cos a loving family is what I got

relatives caring and sharing
fighting for attention

With no care,or breather.

Sharp like a dagger
Piercing through the soul
Running a shiver up the spine
Making me tremble.
The ringing of the phone
Deep into the night

That sweet familiar voice
Bringing a tug on my lips
Eyes dancing in Joy
Zillion words rushing out
Speaking a dime a dozen
Not letting him sneak a word

"Shhh"he says
"I have something to say"
"What?""What is it?" I whisper
"Guess what?"I am coming" he replies
"Oh those magic words!"

Been so long since I saw him....

Clouds

Clouds
seem to sense
as they sail along,
smiling down on me.
wonder
if they know
what i've just heard
am so happy
i wanna scream
and shout.
spirits soaring high
like waves in the ocean
heart racing
smile tugging at my lips.
can't contain
keep it in any longer
am ecstatic and
beaming in joy.
this is the day..
she entered my world
And there she lies
tiny and pink
wanna hold her
scared she'll
slip
lay her on my lap
whisper
sweet words
"honey,look at me "

As she sat by the shore watching the sun set
Another day passes as the night slowly comes by

She looks at the sea so tranquil & calm
As the waves weave music with their flow

The cool sea breeze caresses her cheeks
Sweet nothing it whispers into her ears

She closes her eyes to the beautiful lullaby
As her mind races to the bygone years

O Time ! she cries, If only u could take me back
And make me a child again just for tonight

Days of my childhood that I had lost somewhere
Comfort and joy that I searched everywhere

The youthful dreams that got crushed in the push
O life ! Why did I grow up in a rush

Give me back those days again
For I could live my life again

Her empty eyes now stare at the dark roads ahead
Hopes & desires where have they vanished?

Her journey she has travelled, she has come this far
No destination she has found, she looks so lost

Her canvas of life but all empty & void
No colours she has painted has made it bright

O Lord ! she prays, please show me that rainbow
Sadly hoping someday he would keep up his vow
