The night was cold
streets were empty
the silent moon
glowing in the dark
knew not if the act
he committed
was right or wrong
just felt right
knew he had to
cross the mountain
leaving behind
forgotten memories
trudging towards
new pastures
new life
new hopes
new dreams.....
