[Writer's island] Over the horizon

From the hammock in the balcony
i watched the sun take a peek
slwoly rising from behind the towering building
it made its way into the clear blue sky

I watched in wonder
amazed at this beauty
and wondered what was behind
the shimmering sun's rays

over the horizon
i knew new opportunities
unexplored ventures
waiting for me to open doors
and take a dive into this world

the sun's rays bathing my life
with its brightness
i watched this sight
in wonder.....
