Tunes of the wind...

Trees dancing wildly
to the tunes of the wind
People running helter skelter
to the force of the breeze

Water gushing forth
keeping pace with the pouring rain
Roads flooded to the brim
keeping up with water flowing down

Rains, pouring down on earth
with a vengence
Floods, racing down the streets
with a purpose

Life, it comes to a stand still
no way out
Fear and danger
looming dark on everyone's mind

Thunder so loud,
roaring through the skies
lightening so sharp and bright
piercing through the night sky

oh,rain... wont you calm down
oh,clouds, wont you settle down
please oh,please
rain rain..
please ease up wont you....

Brewing liquid....

Yet another poem that i wrote for the Read-meet we had on 13th Oct at Mocha... the theme was Rain or beverage... one could either write on them individually or combine em as well. since my brain cells were a bit dried up , these were what i came up with.... :)

new day has dawned
sleep beckons
as i toss and turn
the aroma,
levitating me from the bed

senses, working overtime
following the trail
walking, as if in a daze
all i know now
is i need that brewing liquid
to jostle me from this
sweet sleep...

Rain rain, dont go away.....

as i walk along this lonely road
deep in the middle of the night
in the distance i see a light
a blink after another
and a gentle roar
look up at the sky
and plop,falls a raindrop in my face

sweet and gentle
tasting sweet as honey
clouds i see are crying
in happiness or sorrow i wonder
rain, oh,how i love those little drops
making me wanna dance
rejoice right there
in the midlde of the road

gentle rain
making the flower bloom
and soil green and happy
dont go away, stay here forever
look up at the sky
i plead with the One up above

rain rain
never go away....

Sky looking so forlorn
Clouds gathering close
Looks like a new world coming alive
On that rainy day

Trying to catch the sun
There is no way my eyes can penetrate
I try to see through the clouds
On that rainy day

Oh,how i love the rain
Laughter and joy fill my mind
This is what a rainy day can do
On that rainy day

Sun slowly shines through the sky
A brand new day i see coming along
the Sun spreading brightness and light
On that rainy day
