Day at home

Went for a walk
At the break of dawn
weather was chill
felt the bite of the wind

Got back home in a hurry
Sneeze i did -Achoo!!Achoo!!
Not once not twice
Had no energy to keep track

I knew it!!
Landed with a cold
Went to work
Mustered enough strength to last a day

Collapse i did
as i entered home
Brrr!!came the shivers
Knew i was done for

Could not sleep
hunted for the pills-
a crocin,a metacin or an Allegra
Finally sleep crept up my eyes

Awoke too tired
felt so drained
Decided to take the day off
happy i could get some rest

Got bored after a nap
Oh what do i do?
How do i kill time?
Yup,can u believe it,i got bored being home

Just a day
not even 24hrs but a couple less
Drove all nuts
Mom said "Wish you were at work" :)

There ends my day
never do i say "what do u do at home all day"
Man,it sure is tough
just being home!!

Ode to all Mom's and others who stay home and make it look like they enjoy their days..
